Getting to Paris

Paris has two major airports: Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport, both approximately 10km away from the city centre, and a smaller one: Beauvais airport (located in Tillé), approximately 60k away and mainly used by low-cost and charter airlines.

BY TRAIN
Paris can be reached by train in a matter of hours from within France and all major European cities. There are nine stations which all bring you into the heart of the city. They are situated in different areas of Paris and are well connected to the public transport network (metro, RER, bus).

ECSS Travel Grant
ECSS offers three travel grants worth €500 each. The applicant must fulfill the following requirements:

• The applicant has successfully submitted an abstract for presentation at ECSS Paris 2023
• The applicant is affiliated with a university that appears on the DAC List of ODA Recipients
