Lausanne offers a wide selection of accommodation options ranging from budget-friendly alternatives to comfortable three-star properties and luxurious five-star hotels. Whether you prefer lakefront luxury, charming boutique hotels or modern city stays, you’ll find a suitable place to stay.
Lausanne Tourisme is our accommodation handling partner for the 31st ECSS Annual Congress and together, we have secured a large number of hotel rooms for our Congress days.
Participants can use two official booking portals – Artegis and HotelMap – to explore available hotels for the Congress. From Book now, pay at the hotel to Flexible Cancellation and non-refundable payment terms, you have an array of options to choose from.
Because the portals pull their data from different sources, they may list different hotels or prices for the same property. Browsing both portals ensures you see the full range of options and can choose the accommodation that best fits your needs. Each portal lists the payment and cancellation terms for the rooms it offers, so please review these carefully before booking.
Artegis
- Most rooms follow a ‘book now, pay at the hotel’ policy with a credit card to guarantee
- The platform allows single or double room bookings (up to 2 people)
HotelMap
- Payment and cancellation options vary by hotel and room type, ranging from non-refundable to flexible
- This platform is recommended for group bookings, as it supports up to 9 rooms per day and direct group reservations
EHL Campus - Budget Accommodation
- Lausanne Tourism contracted a number of rooms (from 6-11 July 2026) at the Campus of EHL Hospitality Business School to accommodate lower budgets
- Reservations and payments must be made via the Lausanne Tourism platform and bookings are non-refundable
How to get to EHL Campus
To reach the EHL Hospitality Business School, take the M2 metro line in direction of Croisettes from Lausanne train station and get off at the final destination (Croisettes), then take the bus:
- no 45 > Lausanne, Cojonnex/EHL stop
- no 345, 360, 362 > Lausanne, Vert-Bois/EHL stop
The journey takes around 30 minutes. Timetables are available at www.cff.ch. Enter your departure point and then choose “Lausanne, Ecole Hôtelière” as your destination. Plan your stay early
As Lausanne is a popular summer destination, we strongly encourage you to plan your trip early and secure your accommodation well in advance. Together with Lausanne Tourisme, we secured a large number of hotel rooms for our Congress days and many hotels offer flexible cancellation policies, allowing you to book now and adjust your plans later, if needed. Over the next weeks, participating hotels will continuously upload their room availabilities. Early booking will ensure better rates and availability during the busy summer period in the Olympic Capital.
