E-poster upload is only open to those who have submitted an abstract by the abstract submission deadline (15 February 2024) and have been accepted to present their work in the E-poster format. Authors were notfied of the abstract acceptance on 2 April 2024. Please visit our Presenter page for information about the format.

Important notice: The E-poster upload is open from 21 May 2024 to 25 June 2024. If you miss this deadline, we are not able to display your E-poster at the congress.

E-poster upload instructions

Please carefully read the instructions below regarding the creation and upload of your E-poster.

1. Create your E-poster with a suitable software and transfer to PDF.

These instructions are written for PowerPoint but are applicable to any other software you may wish to use. Use PowerPoint and set the dimensions of your poster to: 140cm (55in) width x 79cm (31in) height, in landscape (horizontal) orientation.

  • Number of pages (slides): one (1)
  • E-poster file size is a max of 2MB
  • Make sure your text and background have a strong contrast
  • Minimum suggested font size: 24 (20 for references)
  • For embedded images prefer .jpeg or .png file formats in a resolution of 72dpi or 96dpi
  • Do not use animated effects, animations or videos
  • Save as PDF file

2. Upload your E-poster

  • Access your ECSS account
  • Follow the E-poster upload link provided under ‘myCongress’ of your account
  • Depending on the file size of your E-poster and your internet connection, the upload process may take from seconds to several minutes

Important notice: The E-poster upload process described above is fully automated and maximises the chance of a successful upload for your E-poster. Furthermore, it eliminates the chance that an E- poster sent by email could be erroneously characterised as spam and be lost. Therefore, only E-poster uploads made through the process described above will be accepted.
