ECSS offers three Travel Grants of €600 each. This is a general Travel Grant independent from participating in the ECSS YIA competition.

Criteria

• The applicant is not a former ECSS Travel Grant winner.
• The applicant has successfully submitted an abstract for presentation at the 31st ECSS Annual Congress - ECSS Lausanne 2026 (Notification of acceptance on 1 April 2026) and ticked 'Yes - I wish to apply for the ECSS Travel Grant' during abstract submission.
• The applicant has uploaded a proof of a university affiliation (in English language) of a country listed up to Lower Middle Income Countries¹ from the DAC List of ODA Recipients in the ECSS Account.
• The applicant has uploaded a proof of current residence (in English language) of a country listed up to Lower Middle Income Countries¹ from the DAC List of ODA Recipients in the ECSS Account.
• The applicant has paid the full registration fee (by 8 May 2026) before receiving the ECSS Travel Grant money.
