The Special Interest Group in Environmental Physiology connects sport scientists and other sport stakeholders (e.g., athletes, coaches) who share an interest in exercising under various environmental conditions. We discuss all types of exercise, including team sports, Olympic sports and extreme events, as well as different exposures such as training, competing and recovery. Our focus areas encompass heat, cold, hypoxia, gravity, pollution and other environmental stressors.

Our annual meeting aims to foster greater interactivity compared to the regular in-programme symposia, providing a platform for exchanging ideas through debates, guest invitees and panel discussions.

Date: Thursday, 4 July
Time: 12:45-13:45 (during Lunch Break)
Lecture Room: Alsh 1
