Being able to present your research at a congress is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work in front of the scientific community – particularly for early career researchers.
When you hold a presentation, you do not only promote your research but also yourself as a researcher. With your presentation, you underline your hard work with its high standards, on slides that are both scientifically sound and catchy. As a researcher, you wish to achieve the competence of presenting yourself scientifically skilled and eloquent while being passionate and inspiring. You may aim at kicking off enlightening discussions, prestigious networking with future collaborators and, likely, many other things.
All of this during your 10 minutes presentation time slot. A challenge? Certainly. But achievable – if you present well prepared.
This workshop invites early career researchers to present and practice their ECSS Rimini 2025 oral presentation in advance. Among peers of our ECSS family, feedback will be shared in a trustful learning community, with the aim to help sharpen presentations as well as presenting skills overall. Early career researchers presenting in any ECSS general field (Applied Sports Sciences – Biomechanics & Motor Control – Physiology & Nutrition – Psychology, Social Sciences & Humanities – Sports & Exercise Medicine & Health) are invited to participate. In fact, presentation experiences and feedbacks may benefit from a unique multi- and interdisciplinary line-up.
The workshop can cover up to 5 presentations, each held in an ECSS Rimini 2025 ready-to-go oral presentation format (i.e., PowerPoint 16:9, 10 minutes) as well as a session-like setup (introduced and guided by the chair), followed by up to 15 minutes of feedback. A PDF version of the presentation must be e-mailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before 17 June 2025 (please indicate your ECSS Account ID). Limited presentation slots may demand selections upon first come, first serve principle.
