2016 EJSS Impact Factor: 2.690 | Ranking in sport science: 15/81

The official ECSS journal, European Journal of Sport Science, continues its extraordinary success in Taylor & Francis’ sport science publishing programme.

EJSS’ 2016 impact factor has been announced at 2.690, which positions the journal at number 15 out of 81 journals in the sport science category. This is an all-time high for EJSS and positions the journal as one of the most cited journals in sport and exercise science in the world. In 2015, EJSS was ranked 30 out of 82 journals, with an impact factor of 1.785.

EJSS Editor-in-Chief, Professor Andy Jones commented:

“I'm delighted that EJSS has enjoyed such a big increase in its impact factor. This is testament to the quality of the research articles we receive, the commitment of our reviewers and Section Editors, and the marketing and PR support we receive from ECSS. This new impact factor puts us in a good position to attract even higher quality research articles and therefore to climb higher still in the sport science journal rankings.”
