ECSS Young Investigators Award

Now in its 22nd consecutive year, the ECSS YIA Award expects a high number of quality research submissions at this year’s congress, from young scientists around the world. The GSSI Sport Nutrition Award has established itself in the ECSS community. It showcases recent trends and highlights in sport nutrition research.

Aspetar Excellence in Football Science Award

The initiative to combine football and science has worked splendidly through the Aspetar Excellence in Football Science Award, which was first introduced at ECSS Malmö 2015. Again, we expect a large number of research submissions for this tough competition.

German Tennis Federation Award

It has been a long-standing tradition for the German Tennis Federation to nominate an award for both international and national researchers. This year the award will take place at ECSS MetropolisRuhr 2017.

EJSS Best Paper Award

ECSS is proud to present the EJSS Best Paper Award, awarded to the best paper published in 2016 in the official journal of the ECSS – European Journal of Sport Science. The editorial board will make nominations in spring and the winner will be announced at ECSS MetropolisRuhr 2017. All nominated papers will be free to access following the announcement of the winner.
