The European College of Sport Science (ECSS) promoted sport science as a future employer at the Sport.Career.Network 2011 held at the German Sport University in Cologne, Germany on 1st June 2011.

More than 800 bachelor and master students visited the ECSS, to be inspired about the possibilities for a career in the multi- and interdisciplinary fields of international sport science.

"Sport science certainly is an exciting and interesting employer", says Svenja Schulze, North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister of the Sciences, when visiting the ECSS during the Sport.Career.Network 2011.

The ECSS enjoyed being part of the Sport.Career.Network 2011 and will certainly be back next year to further promote sport science as a future employer for young researchers.
