For the first time the ECSS offers the YIA travel grant to support ECSS Congress travel expenses for young researchers from all countries and territories eligible to receive official development assistance by OECD standards.

Out of numerous international applications, the ECSS 2011 YIA travel grant awardees are

By awarding the ECSS 2011 YIA travel grant (500 Euro each), the ECSS further underlines its purpose to promote sport science on an international, multi-cultural, multidisciplinary, as well as interdisciplinary context with a special attention to young researchers.

The ECSS very much looks forward to welcome these young researchers among the international sport science community at the 16th annual ECSS Congress in Liverpool this summer.
