Academic vita: PhD degree in Neuroscience obtained in December 2007 from the Faculty of Life Science at the University of Manchester, GBR. PhD studentship from the Medical Research Council and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
Employment: Post-doctoral Research Assistant in Stem Cell Biology at the Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University, GBR.
Reseach interest: The role of cardiac stem cells in cardiac remodelling induced by intensity-controlled exercise training and the pathways governing cardiac stem cell activation and differentiation.
